Hannover Messe Driveby

| March 27, 2014

Last weekend while visiting friends in the Hannover area, we drove by the Hannover Messe site where Some Guy’s Hat will need to crash a business conference next year in order to continue upon Some Guy’s path. Truth be told, the pin Some Guy placed on his hat is not of the same type as his collection of souvenir Koziol pins. Still, I would feel remiss if I were to ignore this one single pin that Some Guy felt the need to tack on in 1960.

The Hannover Messe is an industrial fair that brings together businessmen from fields such as agriculture, science, and technology. Not represented: bloggers and writers with flea market hats.

I have decided that rather than show up this April with an old hat and say, in extremely broken German, “I am about to embark upon an adventure with Some Guy’s Hat,” I will crash the party next April with an old hat and say, in slightly less broken German, “You wanna hear where this hat and I have been?”

I’ll wait until happy hour.
