My Trilingual Haiku Pun LOLZ

my bilingual haiku pun

I forgot about submitting my pun to the Mensa Bulletin until I was leafing through the April/May issue.  I saw my name staring up at me and then I fell over giggling pretty hard, because I find this pun much-too-hilarious.  Very few people actually get it, but Sequoia laughed–she gets me!!

Kari’s Haiku

 One day I went to

Germany and saw a cow.

So I said, “Hi, Kuh.”

The pun?  Kuh means Cow.  “Hi, Kuh” sounds like Haiku.  I wrote a haiku.

Edited to add: I renounced my Mensa membership in 2020 due to rampant unaddressed racism and misogyny.

all for pun & pun for all mensa bulletin 2020 april/may
