Shocking Success Uploading to Youtube

| July 12, 2015

I’m trying to figure out YouTube Channel so that I can start uploading videos from our adventures.  I would have loved to have had a camera rolling when I was wandering Plitvice.  I’m hoping to figure this out before heading out on a 5-country road trip with eight of us in a van, ages ranging from 11 months to 43 years old.  It’ll be the heat of August, and it’ll involve ferries, beer, an indoor ski resort, and so much more.  Eight of us.  In a van.

Anyway, here goes my first attempt to talk at my phone and upload it directly to YouTube.  Don’t get too excited.  It’s 17 seconds of me having little faith in my ability to succeed.

About the Author ()

Kari Martindale is a writer and ESL instructor. She’s visited all 50 states and 37 countries, including many of the big cities of Europe and a ton of Christmas Markets. She spends her days straddling the fence between a sense of adventure and a sense of dread. She is married to what is clearly a patient man and has a daughter who, frustratingly, is just like her. Her academic and professional backgrounds are in linguistics and foreign languages. When she's not teaching ESL, she's writing. When she's not writing, she's thinking about her next trip.

You still have NO accent. How is that possible?!?!?!

    • Lol I do, but it’s light. It’s in vowels and distinctions not found in other dialects. I moved out of PA almost 20 years ago, and out of the immediate Philadelphia area as a teen.
