Ghent, Belgium was such a nice surprise. One day I was just looking for a pitstop between Normandy and home, when I noticed that Ghent had a Marriott. Well, if there’s a Marriott in this unfamiliar city, there must be something to see, right? Was there ever. I’ll admit that when we drove into the city, I was not impressed. But that did not last.
