Bad Homburg (which sounds way too much like “Bah! Humbug!”) features a small Christmas Market by the palace. In addition to food, drink, and gift stalls, there are a small train and carousel, and other entertainment.
To be perfectly honest, I wouldn’t travel far to visit this one again, but if I lived in the area I might head over there for an afternoon/evening. Here are a few pics from our visit. Tip: TOTALLY eat at Klosterschänke Bad Homburg.
Klosterschänke was full when we tried at lunch, so we tried for dinner. Fortunately, an older couple let us share their table. It was awesome.
Tip: Much better at night than in the day. Some markets, you can enjoy at any time of day. This one didn’t look as nice during the day, as at night.
