It’s never fun packing, but packing for multiple countries, changing temperatures, and various activities–well, it’s a challenge. The car is full of normal clothes, hiking gear, an average of 3 coats per person, a case of water, road food, movies and activities for the kid, and more chargers than a person should own. Seriously: WHY ARE THERE SO MANY CHARGERS?
I’m happy to report that one charger belongs to my brand spankin’ new Sony RX100 II, with which I should be able to take awesome pics and send them to my phone-via wifi! It’s about as high-tech as this woman will ever get. Of course, we’re assuming that I will use this with some semblance of competence. (But seriously, I’m incredibly excited to be trying it out at places like Plitvice Lakes.)
We have reservations at a typical land hotel, a tiny farmhouse that looks questionable in its ability to stay erect, a lodge, two luxury hotels, and someone’s airbnb apartment with no street number but we’ll look for the “antiques” sign on a shop next to a pub. Things I have to remember to do when crossing into some of these countries: get money in local currency. This should be an adventure.
So. Here’s where I’m headed for the next week and a half…follow on twitter, instagram, facebook, pinterest, and here!
