Last week was monumental–Some Guy’s Hat made it to the very last place in Germany for which there is an old souvenir pin on the hat(!!).
Inzell, Germany is a lovely Bavarian town butting up against the Alps, which were lightly capped with snow. Because it was Epiphany, nearly the entire town was shut down.
Now, it’s time to really buckle down on June’s Hat, the fictional story of 4 generations of women. When one retires to follow the trail of a hat such as this, the two younger generations reluctantly join her. While retracing history, they learn much more than they’d intended–about family, war, marriage, and one another.
